RAF Harrowbeer
This concrete structure consisting of two circles joined by a narrow passage, was an anti-aircraft position. The gun was pivoted on a metal pole in the centre of one of the circles. This emplacement is on the north east perimeter of the airfield. Identical structures were used in the arms of some of the dispersal bays on the south west side of the airfield. The airfield did come under attack from enemy aircraft during its active life.
