RAF Harrowbeer

This iron socket for a holding a pole, still attached to a section of concrete, was found inside a ruined defence position on the north east perimeter of the airfield. It is close to the emergency signal cabin and may have been used to convey a signal to aircraft or to other parts of the airfield?
