RAF Harrowbeer

This is a concrete hard stand in a spitfire dispersal bay off the western perimeter track. Behind the perimeter track was the intersection of runways 05/23 and 17/35. Two buildings can be seen in the distance. The one on the left was the original watch office (control tower) - now the Knightstone tea rooms. The building on the right is a house named Ravenscroft, used as the station headquarters, squadron offices and now a care home.
