RAF Harrowbeer

The modern road from Yelverton to Crapstone was constructed after the airfield closed and for much of the route runs in a straight line along the northern edge of runway 11/28. In the photograph the runway would have extended mainly along the left side of the road. Photograph taken August 2001.
