RAF Harrowbeer

The road crossing left to right in the foreground is the modern road from Yelverton to Crapstone, built after the war along the northern side of runway 11/29. The T junction is with the modern road to Pound. On this stretch, the road follows the eastern side of runway 35, the end of the runway being just beyond the place where the road turns to the left. After turning left, the road follows the line of the main road through the technical site of the airfield. Photograph taken August 2001.
