RAF Harrowbeer

Site 2 was the main communal site, with amongst others the gymnasium, squash court,institute, local produce and grocery store and barbers, tailors and shoemakers shop. This large mound at the eastern side of the site only partially conceals a Stanton Air Raid shelter. Some of the earth covering has eroded to show the underlying masonry.
