Erme Stone row

Erme Stone row

The Erme stone row is a single row that extends northward for 2 1/4 miles from its start at the Dancers a prominent stone circle with a large standing stone. It is the longest known example anywhere of this type of stone row. The stones are not very large or prominent and their direction is northwards to cross the valleys of Green Bottom, Erme and Red Lake and ascend to the terminal cairn on Green Hill.
