Church, Coryton
Coryton Parish Church is a recognised Grade II listed building, with its architectural origins based in the 13th Century, but has incurred substantial additions since then. The 13th Century Chancel and walling survives to this day. It falls within the Tavistock Deanery for ecclesiastical purposes. Much of the interior resembles the 1885 Victorian renovation by the Newman family, which has received the complaint that it is aesthetically at odds with its ancient exterior.
