The Bala Brook is a tributary of the River Avon as it flows in a southerly direction off the southern moor. There is evidence of tin mining and previous industrial settlements in this area. This slide is looking in a southerly direction as the brook falls downstream. In its middles reaches there are a series of small waterfalls.
