Email sent to the Archive - "This stone is still standing (March 2010) at the roadside at or about SX 742 888. The four faces are inscribed C, M, E and DT. I would interpret these as Chagford, Moretonhampstead, Exeter and Drewsteignton, with each letter facing the appropriate destination."
