Grim's Grave is one of a number of kistvaens on the banks of Langcombe Brook, a tributary of the River Plym one of Dartmoor's major rivers. One definition of a kistvaen is a stone coffin, usually pre-Christian, derived from the Celtic cist (chest) and maen(stone).
