Three barrows
This is a view taken from the Middle Brook a tributary of the River Avon looking east towards the Three Barrows. They are on Ugborough moor on the Southern edge of Dartmoor and they are like man made tors. There is a central cairn with a diameter of over 30 metres and a cairn either side slightly smaller. A barrow or cairn was an ancient burial chamber, a mound of earth covered and marked with stones.
