This is one of the bondstones marking the boundary between the common lands of Manaton and Widecombe. Erected by the Duke of Somerset to mark limit of his Natsworthy Estate. Shown incorrectly on OS maps as "Grey Wethers". Crossing also calls it "Grey Wethers".
