This view is looking down in a southerly direction from the source of the River Yealm. There is a letterbox at this point. The River Yealm is the smallest of Dartmoor's rivers and the head stands in a remote and desolate area. The land is quite flat and wild at this point as the river comes up through the surronding peat.
