Lustleigh Parish Church

It is thought that a church has existed on this site since Roman times. There is also an oval-shaped churchyard suggesting that this site was a Romano-British burial ground. Building of the present church began in the 13th century when the south porch and a simple rectangle for the church was built. Further building and alteration were then completed between the early 14th century and the 19th century, with the last addition being the Victorian vestry.
