The Wyatt family outside The Dairy

Mr Ernest Wyatt was a well-known personality in Lustleigh during the late 1930s and early 1940s. He was manager of the Lustleigh Branch of the Newton Abbot Co-operative Society and also for many years the Secretary of the Bovey Tracey and Lustleigh Baptist Church. My Wyatt had been involved with the Baptist Church since he was a small child and often visited the chapel with his father who conducted worship there.
