The Logan Stone, Lustleigh Cleave

This photograph shows the logan stone known as Nutcracker Rock in Lustleigh Cleave. Nutcracker Rock no longer looks like it does in the picture because in 1950 a group of men from Lustleigh dislodged the upper rock from the lower rock, causing it to plunge down the steep slope of the Cleave. The upper stone was consequently destroyed.
