Newspaper cutting recording the closure of Lustleigh village school
This newspaper cutting records the closure of the Lustleigh village school in 1963. Lustleigh school was first opened in 1825 and occupied the Old Vestry, the building pictured on the left. In 1876, the school then moved to the School House (pictured on the right) which was built by the School Board under the provisions of the 1870 Education Act.
