Inscribing Delabole Slates outside the Old Vestry as part of the Old Vestry restoration fund raiser

It took 2 years to raise the necessary funds for the restoration of the Old Vestry, Lustleigh. One way money was raised was through the inscribing of delabole slates which were to be used in the repair works. The slates were donated by the Dartmoor National Park Authority and many Lustleigh parishioners gave £1 each to have a slate inscribed with their name.
