Hele House Lodge

The Lodge House at the back entrance in to Hele House. William B Daw is standing by the gate. Now sold off as a private residence and enlarged in size, the lodge is still easily identifiable as you drive along the lane. Hele House is a short pony and trap ride away from the River Dart Country Park and the adjacent parishes of Holne and Buckland in the Moor. Many of Isabelle’s photos are taken around the area and include shots of the River Dart and Paignton Waterworks, now the Venford reservoir, as well as churches in the local parishes.
