Abbot's Way near Avon Dam Reservoir

The Abbot's Way near the Avon Dam reservoir in snow, with the River Avon in the background. The Abbot's Way runs from Buckfast Abbey to Tavistock Abbey. The name is probably relatively modern, and the trans-Dartmoor route that it describes may have been as much secular as religious. William Crossing called it the Jobber's Path.
