Bellever Farm

Burnard annotated the photograph as 'Bellaford Farm' but the modern name is Bellever Farm. Crossing in his 1912 //Guide to Dartmoor// described many routes across Dartmoor. The route south from Postbridge on the right bank of the river Dart is described as running by Lakehead and below Bellaford Farm. Another route described following the old Lich Path from Bellaford (Bellever) Bridge to the Princetown Road which "leads us up by Bellaford Farm and across the side of Lakehead Hill".
