Bennett's Cross
Known as Bennett's Cross, Bennet's Cross or Benet's Cross. Starkey in his "Dartmoor Crosses" describes Bennett's Cross as "a very odd cross ... in which a minimum of work has been done to a pillar of granite to give it a cross-like appearance". The letters WB carved on the shaft apparently stand for 'Warren Bounds' and other stones nearby also have the same letters carved on them. It is assumed that the letters relate to the old rabbit warren to the south of the cross from which Warren House Inn got its name.
