Burnard Family and Friends at Cranmere Pool

Burnard Family and Friends at Cranmere Pool

This photograph was taken on the 12 August 1889 and shows members of the Burnard family with their friends near Cranmere Pool. The photograph has a caption written in Burnard's hand, which tells us that George French did not come on this trip, but instead "was left behind at Mutes Inn to mind the cattle". George French spent much time with Robert Burnard, and can be seen helping restore Grimspound in 1894 on LinkToda005312.
