Upper and lower Blowing Houses at yealm head rocks

Yealm head was a site on Dartmoor where tin was mined from as early as the 12th century. When tin was extracted, it was taken to Blowing houses for Smelting. This a photograph of the top of Yealm steps. The photograph does not show either of the two blowing houses near here.
