Great Mis Tor

Great Mis Tor is a rocky mountain 1,768 feet high with a broad crenellated granite top. A Perambulation document dated 1240 mentions 'Mystor' and one of the rocks on the tor summit contains a 3 feet diameter basin described in a survey in 1609 as 'a certaine rocke called Mistorrpan'.
