Roundy Farm
The ruins of Roundypark Farm in October 1894. Probably built in 17th Century, the inscription on the stone lintel is "RC 1668"; RC is thought by William Crossing to have been Richard Crymes and by Eric Hemery to Have been Ralph Cockle. The ruin is now (2010) much reduced and a lot of the stone has been removed, including the engraved lintel which is on the lawn of The Lodge at Burrator. The farm was abandoned in 1830 (see "High Dartmoor" by Eric Hemery).
