Broadun platform

This area of Postbridge, overlooking the East Dart River, was a settlement from mesolithic times. The settlers had built their homes using the stone from the area, and the remnants of their flints can still be found today. The stone homes have long since collapsed, and some of the remaining stones have been used to build the small stone platform depicted in this picture.
