Yes Tor
Yes Tor is the peak on the northern ridge of Willhays mountain. Hemery in his book //High Dartmoor// says the correct name should be Willes mountain. The name Yes Tor is probably a corruption of East Tor. Yes Tor is 2,030 feet high and the adjacent peak of High Willhays (High Willes) is 2,039 feet high. Hemery notes that 'the nearest English mountain to exceed the height of Willes is Ingleborough, a fell of the south Pennines in the West Riding of Yorkshire, a distance of some 250 miles north by west'.
