South Hessary Tor
Crossing called this tor South Hisworthy Tor. Burnard called it Lookout Tor. During the Napoleonic wars a stone and timber look-out tower was built on the South Hessary ridge. This became known locally as 'Look-out Castle' and the tor became known as 'Look-out Tor'. The tor is 1,490 feet high.
