The gardens, Haldon House, Dunchideock

Haldon House was built for Sir George Chudleigh in the early 18th Century. It was substantially demolished in the 1940s, and its surviving east wing now forms part of the Lord Haldon hotel. This photograph shows the kitchen garden and an estate house.
