Crapstone, Buckland Monachorum
A row of houses at Crapstone. Situated in the middle of the houses is what looks like a shop. Outside the shop stands a telephone box. On the left of the picture stands on old style petrol pump. Due to its proximity to the WWII RAF airbase in Harrowbeer, crewmen were housed in Crapstone. It remained a defence site until the 1980s, until it was converted for residential use.
