Haldon Race Course, Dunchideock

Charles II is credited with introducing horse racing to what is now Haldon racecourse and from the 1750 The Jockey Club put racing on a regular, standardised basis. Haldon is the highest racecourse in Britain. Now called Exeter racecourse.
