Brimpts Farmhouse and "music room"

Brimpts Farmhouse and "music room"

This photograph was taken by Norman Ruse (1873-1951) between 1900 and 1914. He was a keen amateur photographer and at one time the Chief Sanitary Inspector of Plymouth. The photograph shows Brimpts Farmhouse with the so-called "music room" to the side. From information provided by Norman Ruse's granddaughter, it is said the the "music room" was moved from the farmhouse to a site near to Huccaby Bridge. Used as a village hall for some time, it was later converted into a private house.
