Lydford carnival - celebrating the 1935 Silver jubilee

The 1935 Silver Jubilee of King George Vth was celebrated at the Lydford carnival with patriotic flags and images. The girl seated with her back to the lorry cab is dressed up as Britannia. A banner proclaiming "God save the king!" hangs beside her.
