WHITCHURCH DOWN MILITIA CAMP 1909

The Brigade Camp of the Devon and Cornwall Militia held on Whitchurch Down in 1909. The band are resting in the right foreground in front of the tented camp with bell tents for sleeping and marquees for messing. The standing soldier has a white case over his left shoulder containing his music.
