Burgh Island, just off Bigbury-on-Sea, is referred to as a 'part-time' island as it is linked to the mainland at low tide. It is also home to a very famous art-nouveau hotel. The passenger-carrying sea tractor in the foreground operates between Bigbury and Burgh Island.
