Dartmoor farm buildings
A Dartmoor farmstead with several buildings. A single storey farm cottage has two chimneys and a rough roof - material unknown. The cottage has several outbuildings and sheds built of stone and poorly maintained roofs Dartmoor farms varied substantially in their level of prosperity. Compare these buildings with the farmhouse entrance shown in the adjacent photographs. An email from Jeff Fogwill suggests that this could be "the original buildings of Nuns Cross Farm. There are foundations still remaining of the oldest sites at the farm and the small piece of landscape horizon behind could well be the area around Foxtor farm and Mount Misery"
