Chris Hoban, will present his 1918 Tribute song cycle which includes “No Parades”, “The Padre” & “The Lily And The Rose”, followed after the interval by a participatory reverie of songs from the trenches. Chris is one of the leading songwriters in the folk tradition in the South West and is enjoying a growing reputation as a solo performer and multi-instrumentalist, accompanying himself on guitar, piano accordion, mandocello or ‘cello.
The performance, arranged by the Dartmoor Trust in conjunction with the Dartmoor National Park Authority is on Wednesday 7 November 2018, at the National Park Visitor Centre, Princetown. Doors open at 7pm for 7.30pm and the event will finish at 9.30pm. There are only 70 seats, so booking is essential with tickets at £10.00. There will be a bar and there is plenty of parking.
