Television recreation of the traditional Dartmoor funeral

When Carlton TV wished to recreate a traditional Dartmoor funeral for their TV programme, "Murder Most Foul", they commissioned Bridestowe funeral director, George Heathman, to make them an elm coffin with 1920s style fittings and a traditional wooden bier. George Heathman was the only undertaker they could find who still made his own coffins.
